Anti-wrinkle injections and Dermal Fillers
It is often said that the eyes are the windows to the soul, but the smile is the door.
The smile is more than just teeth, it involves the way your lips look, the way your chin projects and the way your skin appears around your mouth.
A bright smile is associated with friendliness, comfort, extroversion and attractiveness.
In youth, generally everything is full, plump, balanced, symmetrical and strong. There are methods to help correct balance and symmetry in youthful patients, and in our older patients we can help restore, rebuild and rejuvenate the face. As we age, the structures of the face start changing due to a range of activities:

-
Bones start to resorb and reduce over time
-
Teeth change in colour and size
-
Gums start to shrink
-
Muscles around the mouth become stronger
-
Muscles used in chewing become bigger and bulkier
-
Skin itself becomes thinner and lips start reducing in size and shape
With all of these changes taking place, we become more and more concerned about how our smile looks and suddenly we don't look like the person we think we are. It is here that we offer two treatment options for the rejuvenation of the face and smile; Anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers.
We only offer premium products for facial rejuvenation.
Dermal Fillers
Fillers are considered minimally invasive and have very little recovery time - which is often due to the skill of the operator.
They can often provide immediate results that can be adjusted instantly. The fillers that we use contain hyaluronic acid that achieve results which can last between 9-18 months on average.
For those who are experiencing mild sagging and early signs of ageing, fillers can postpone the need for the more permanent surgical solution. For some patients who cannot undergo anesthesia for surgical reasons, fillers may be the safest solution to problems such as hollow cheeks, sagging jaw line and a weak chin.

Anti-wrinkle Injections
Continued contraction of muscles can cause lines and creases around the face and mouth. By using anti-wrinkle injections carefully in these areas, these lines can be softened. Anti-wrinkle injections can be used to treat smokers lines, showing too much gum or a gummy smile, 'golfball' or 'poppy' chin.
The effects of anti-wrinkle injections last between 3-9 months on average.
